NZEC Newsletter – May 2023
Kia ora koutou from the NZEC team,
We hope this newsletter finds you and your families safe. This year has been eventful and certainly with challenges for all of you, which we hope you’ve managed to navigate. We also hope you all enjoyed the Easter break with your families and took time to remember the fighting spirit of the ANZACs last month. It’s been a while since our last newsletter, and we have been busy. So, this newsletter is a bit of an omnibus.
We are proud to announce that NZEC will be sponsoring the ‘Best Emerging Business’ in the 2023 New Zealand International Business Awards. We also have a handful of exciting events in the coming months that the team will be attending. More information about the events and where you can meet members of the team below!
We’re delighted to share with you a case study that tells the story of an exporter that was presented with a fantastic opportunity to expand its cryogenic technology into new markets. After securing a contract to supply a liquid nitrogen solution to aid in the increased production of the Ethiopian and Indian agriculture industries, NZEC was able to provide Fabrum with assurance that their buyer would pay using Short-Term Trade Credit. Read how we were able to support them during the delivery of these contracts.
We are aware some of you were affected by the devastation of Cyclone Gabrielle. We include information below of the support that may be available to you from our colleagues at business.govt.nz
We hope you enjoy your reading.
Case Study – Fabrum
Read here to see how Fabrum, a company at the forefront of using technology to achieve better outcomes in the world will now be developing their cryocooler technology in India and Ethiopia. Expansion into new markets came with significant risk as the contracts were to be paid upon delivery. Find out more how NZEC supported Fabrum to proceed with confidence.
